John Daugherity’s song In Snow seems pretty simple at first — repetitious, even. I think with a couple listens, though, you hear the story of love turned cold — her love, my love, and our love. The repetitiveness reminds me of another gorgeously simple song, Hold On by John Lennon. I think In Snow would be a great cover song for a singer. Contact us if you’re interested! Buried in the snow She's not dead But you know she's cold You know she's cold She's cold She's cold She's cold She's cold In the snow You know she's out there somewhere Never been told Somehow I know, I know, I know She don't have my love and now she knows how it feels She don't have my love and now she knows how it feels She don't have my love and now she knows how it feels Buried in the snow I'm not dead But you know I'm cold You know I'm cold I'm cold I'm cold I'm cold I'm cold In the snow You know I'm out there somewhere I don't have no love Now I know how she feels You know I'm out there somewhere I don't have no love Now I know how she feels Buried in the snow Buried in the snow We're not dead but you know we're cold Oh we're cold We're cold We're cold We're cold We're cold In the snow You know you're out there somewhere Never been told Somehow I know I know I know We don't have no love Now we know how it feels Buried in the snow
